Jane Hunter OBE

January 2009

Jane Hunter OBE has been bestowed the additional honour of The Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit (CNZOM) for her services to the viticulture industry in the New Year Honours 2009.

Oram's Marine Reception Lounge, overlooking the Auckland Harbour was the venue on November 5th for a Luncheon gathering to celebrate the launch of the Jane Hunter biography 'Jane Hunter- Growing a Legacy'.

Michael Cooper, accomplished winewriter and Philip Gregan, CEO of Winegrowers NZ paid tribute to Jane and her 25 years in the industry. Jane's gracious and sometimes humorous reply capped of a great lunch accompanied by a selection of fabulous Hunter's wines.
